Timm A. Davis

Timm Davis is a sixth-generation south Texas who has been licensed to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court since 1994. Timm graduated from the University of Houston in 1991 with a degree in Economics and received his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1994. Immediately after graduating and sitting for the bar exam, he began his legal career with a law firm in Edinburg where his practice focused primarily upon civil litigation and insurance litigation. In 1996 Timm was hired by the Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney where he served his state for twenty-years as a prosecutor. During his time with the district attorney’s office he was head prosecutor of the Forfeiture and Expunctions section of the office. Timm was also a member of the Hidalgo County HIDTA Task Force, a federally administered law enforcement group focused on drug and money laundering prosecutions. Since 2016 Timm has been in private practice in McAllen, Texas. He focuses primarily on civil litigation, including Family Law, Probate, Personal Injury and Insurance Claims.
Timm has been married to his wife Gloria since 1996 and they have been blessed to raise their family in McAllen. Their oldest son is presently attending college in Connecticut at the United States Coast Guard Academy while their youngest is a soon to be senior at McAllen Memorial High School. When not working or spending time with the family, Timm is an avid golfer and tries to play at least twice a week. He also enjoys bird hunting in the fall with his sons and traveling with his wife and family.
Timm Davis is licensed to practice by the Texas Supreme Court and is admitted for federal practice by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He and his family are members of the First United Methodist Church of McAllen and he has served the community for many years as a youth coach in baseball, soccer and basketball through the Boys and Girls Club of McAllen and the McAllen Youth Soccer Association. Timm also served six-years as a member of the advisory board of the city of McAllen Palmview Golf Course and has been a longtime supporter, member and former officer of the McAllen Memorial Football Booster Club.
